PRESENTATION
The Spanish Institute of Navigation as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the dissemination, promotion and generation of excellence and usefulness in the areas of land, maritime, aviation and space navigation, has fulfilled its mission since 1998 involved in the activities of navigation, safety and mobility for business, education and research, both in Catalonia and the rest of Spain.
It is no coincidence that his foundation has been taken place in Barcelona, a city that has always pioneered and developed an economic activity primarily focused on navigation and maritime in its infancy, and ground and air today, more thinking about space exploration challenges, challenges that have allowed the creation of research groups, companies and a R & D network towards a model of economy coneiximent.
In 10 years of work, the Spanish Institute of Navigation has worked in its mission to become more competent and competitive the industrial sector, knowledge and value in all the areas of navigation.
The navigation will not fail to be linked to Spain, infrastructures such as ports and airports are strategic in time and initiatives to attract ongoing European Projects as satellite navigation system Galileo as other areas such as earth observation, have allowed to INAVE to continue taking a role and participating in these strategies.
From INAVE ratify our desire to contribute to the scientific and technological development of Spain fulfilling our mission in a country of sailors.
